WESTOZ Electrical Services was engaged to complete an entire electrical and air-conditioning contract for a new build triplex unit development in a desired Beachside Location in 2018.  WESTOZ’s scope of works included;

​

• System design and selection of all goods, for all electrical and air-conditioning systems by WESTOZ.

• Lighting plan by WESTOZ.

• Liaison with Western Power including documentation submission for upgrade to underground power with new Western Power Electrical Dome as well as the planned removal of redundant stay pole 2019, following up late 2018 to ensure on list for 2019 removal confirmed.

• Selection, procurement and delivery of all light fittings to suit and compliment the upmarket style of the units to showcase the bespoke design. 

• Triplex site electrical and telecommunication conduit and wiring pre-lay, including conduits run in concrete slabs, underground and drawer wires for NBN future connection.

• Underground power upgrade including liaising with Western Power, setup of new connection and meters.

• Incoming telephone conduits/drawer wires for Telstra connection.

• Reverse cycle air-conditioning units with control panels for each unit (Panasonic) supplied and installed with internal control panel with five individual zones per unit.

• Electrical distribution boards, safety systems, breakers and sub- circuits.

• LAN/communication distribution boards and sub-system wiring, and wall outlets.

• Exterior lighting plan and selection of light fittings and fixtures, supply and installation included;

• • LED down lights to Alfresco areas, garage-surface mounted light fitting with opal diffuser, louvre exterior wall bracket bunker lights, security lighting with sensors, LED spike garden up-lighters with drivers

  • Doorbells linked to internal Kocom colour video intercom (mirror finish) colour: white

  • External weatherproof power-points, supply and installation of combo electrical/gas meter box (Colorbond)

• Interior Lighting plan and selection of light fittings and fixtures, supply and installation included;

  • LED down lights, feature pendant lights in hallways/dining

  • LED down lights/exhaust fan combinations to all bathrooms, en-suite, laundries and W/C

  • Kocom colour video intercom linked to external doorbell/camera

  • Light points, power-points, telephone points, data points, digital antennas installation, oven and range-hood connection/commission

  • Bruce personally carried out various works as above including; Western Power liaison, testing procedures, various electrical works included in the electrical contract to oversee and check for electrical compliance. System testing, completion, sign off and submission of relevant documentation including; Preliminary Notice, Notice of Completion and Electrical Safety Certificates for all 3 units.

During the process all works was completed on time and on budget. Bruce was professional and kept me up to date with progress. Bruce engaged various sub-contractors for his contract. 

I was impressed with the finished product which has enhanced all the properties significantly. In particular the lighting selections showcased the exterior front gardens, letterboxes and feature tiling to front of units during twilight and night, as well as lighting internally with stylish designs, along with plenty of LED light fittings and task lighting ie; kitchen/laundry. Any items requiring rectification works after handover were noted and attended to by rectifying any issues; for example a garden lighting globe was faulty from purchase, hence swapped and replaced together with a few other minor items which were all rectified post handover.
